Tackling Adult Illiteracy Campaign
This year, Harrison College has teamed up with the Indianapolis Colts to support Indy Reads, in Tackling Adult Illiteracy in Central Indiana. Harrison College has pledged to donate $26 to Indy Reads for every tackle #26, Kelvin Hayden, Colts Defensive Back, makes at Lucas Oil Stadium or away. Join Harrison College in its goal of supporting 1,000 Indianapolis adults in learning to read through donations and generating volunteers for Indy Reads.

Over 108 years ago, Harrison College opened its doors and began changing the lives of its students by providing student-centered, career oriented education. With 13 campuses throughout Indiana and Ohio, as well as online classes, Harrison College has served over 75,000 graduates with degrees in fields filled with opportunity, like Business, IT, Health Sciences, Veterinary Technology and Criminal Justice. Indy Reads is an independent, non-profit organization which has been serving its mission of improving the literacy skills of adults in Central Indiana since 1984. Indy Reads provides individual and group literacy tutoring in many locations throughout Central Indiana. Accredited by ProLiteracy Worldwide, the oldest and largest nongovernmental literacy organization in the world, Indy Reads serves hundreds of Central Indiana adults annually with the goal of “Making Indianapolis 100% Literate.” Learn more at www.IndyReads.org.
